A little while back, I was in Groove Merchant, and Vinnie Esparza sold me one of the very-limited-edition Ubiquity Records reissues of a private-press LP by a “group” called Twilight (I put “group” in irony-quotes because it’s actually the labor of one person, Lawrence Ross). Vinnie joked that he would only sell me the record if I agreed to do a remix of the last track, a quick little synth vamp ditty called “Love’s High.” I decided to take the joke seriously and punch up the track a bit. My remix caught the ears of the folks over at Ubiquity, who have posted it on the Ubiquity blog for all to hear. Enjoy!
